When a quote is ready, you can change its status to Sent, which enables Accept a quote and Decline a quote buttons, which are available for manager and on the client portal. In the first case, it allows manager to manually accept or decline a quote when an answer from a client is received via direct communication with them. Or, if you use client portal, customer's user can perform this action by themselves.
When you click Decline a quote button, a modal dialog appears allowing to provide short explanation for this decision.
When you click Accept a quote, the following actions will be performed:
- If a quote contains services only for one language, a single translation job will be created;
- If a quote contains services for multiple language, a new translation project will be created with corresponding number of translation jobs (one job for each language);
- If a quote contains services only for one language, but Always create projects on accept option is checked in the application Settings > Quote settings tab, a new translation project with single translation job will be created;
- A notification will be sent to quote's manager.
- If any of quote's items has non-empty Planned vendor field, then application will also create translation assignments under created project, for a specified vendor. Status of created assignment will be set to Draft.
