I was wondering if it was important to always keep whatever locked content is in the source in the target as well?
Does it mess with the translation memory and context match if for example locked content is not kept in the target?

Here is a screenshot to illustrate the issue. As you can see the MT does recognize the locked content but not the "dnt" (do not translate) tags. We, therefore, are obligated to add the "dnt" tags manually which can be time consuming.
So we were wondering if it's necessary to add the "dnt" tags to the locked content?
