Server-based translation memories not visible in Studio

Hello,

we are using server-based TMs, and since today one of our colleagues can't see any TMs any more on the server. The server is available, she can access the TDB that is stored on the same server, but can't see any TMs she could choose from. This holds true not only within the project (I checked the language settings, they are correct and the same a for the TMs), but also in the Translation Memory view. I also checked her roles on the server itself, she is assigned translator and project manager as all the other colleagues are. And as I said, it used to function last week. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling Trados, which did not help. Interesting enough, Trados still "knew" the server address (where is this information stored?), even thought we had uninstalled plus deleted all program files we could find manually. If anyone had any idea, that would be of great help.

    I'll try to answer since nobody did yet.

    As far as i know this could be a known bug of the latest Studio update, used in conjunction with latest groupshare (cu9).

    Your colleague should revert to Trados Studio, previous version (2022 SR1 - 17.1.6.16252).

    Always an interesting one for us in the community who implemented this!  The original message, while polite and informative, could be perceived as having a lower sentiment score for a few reasons:

    1. Language Tone: The phrase "I'll try to answer since nobody did yet" might imply that the question was not deemed important enough by others to warrant a response, which could be construed as somewhat negative.

    2. Issue Mention: Mentioning a 'known bug' and suggesting a rollback to a previous version might be helpful but also highlights that there is an existing problem, which might not uplift the sentiment.

    3. Formality: The message is more straightforward and less embellished. High sentiment usually involves expressions of enthusiasm, warmth, or delight, which are largely missing here.

    4. Closing: While "Lovely day to you" is polite and positive, it might not fully compensate for the less-than-ideal news conveyed in the message.

    Given these factors, the sentiment might be considered moderate or even low compared to a message that exudes enthusiasm, gratitude, or delight.

It appears that the issue could be related to a known bug in the latest version of Studio, especially when used in tandem with the latest groupshare (cu9). The recommended course of action would be for your colleague to roll back to the previous version of Trados Studio (2022 SR1 - 17.1.6.16252).
