Unable to get MT from Language Weaver

Hello,

It has been a few days since the Language Weaver plugin stopped working. I did not get any error message and I am able to add the Language Weaver provider to the TM list when I create a projet but MT is not applied to my files once the project is created.

I tried reinstalling the plugin but I still cannot pre-translate my documents with Language Weaver.

    Please can you confirm the Studio version that you're using? This is seen in Studio, in Help > About Trados Studio.

    In addition, if you're running Studio 2021 or 2022 can you confirm you've installed the private appstore, following the steps from here? If you haven't, please set it up, then install Language Weaver from the integrated appstore from Studio.

    Finally, have you tried to use the cloud-resources option, instead of Language Weaver plugin? They both have the results coming from the same platform, so I'm curious to see if you get results coming from the cloud- based resources?

  • I have the same question, however your answer here did not solve my pproblem. a while ago i had the problem that my automated machine translated didn't work. Last time the problem was that i marked the option- most likely by accident - to use different TM for different languages. This is not the case now. I tried pre-translating the document, it was in the middle of working, and suddenly I get the "lovely" message "no matches found or no lookup performed"....
