how to recover multiterm 2007 after change of PC

Hello,

I bought some weeks ago  a new PC and installed on it Trados Studio (which I did not own before) as well as Trados 8.0 (which I deactivated on my old PC in order to activate it on the new PC).

So far, so good.

Both Trados versions work fine.

It was only today that I noticed that I do no longer have Multiterm for Trados 8.0. To be honest, I don't even rembember if Multiterm is automatically installed togehter with Trados 8.0 or if it requires a separate installation. Anyway, I do not longer have my old PC. And on my SDL account, I only see the licence for Trados but not for Multiterm. So how can I recover my good old Multiterm?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Lucia

  • Good morning Paul,

I have made some progress since yesterday.

    I now have a pre-segmented DOCX file.
(I converted the monolingual DOCX into a monolingual DOC. Then I used SDL Legit to make of the monolingual DOC a pre-segmented DOC which I then converted into a pre-segmented DOCX.)

When I try to open the pre-segmented DOCX in Trados Studio, I get the message:
The file contains tw4inMark style used to mark up bilingual documents.

I therefore went into Project/File Types/Microsoft Word 2007 -2016/Common and checked the box next to "Process files with tw4win Mark".

However, I still receive the error message "The file contains tw4inMark style used to mark up bilingual documents."

Do you have any ideas what else I could try ?

    Thank you.
