Strange, but this finds any space before punctuation marks, not only at segment end: [\u0020\u00A0][\.,!;:?]
Not "strange", incorrect. It should not be necessary to go through "mental exercises" to code a regex workaround for what appears to be a bug.
BTW The period does not need to be escaped in a class, [.,!;:?] suffices
Also, Unicode categories can be used simplify (and generalise) the regex to \p{Zs}\p{P}, although this might be too general
Thank you for the hints about regex. This one has been created several years ago, when I was starting to learn it. At that time I obviously did not know \s
In the meantime I have found your books on Amazon and bought these, so in case of doubt I'll be consulting them.
A good choice! (But I may be biased).
Interestingly, the problem is only with the built-in regex engine; ADF has no problems. Similarly, the built-in regex engine can have performance problems not apparent in ADF.
Regex is one of the most powerful options in Studio. You can use regex here more comprehensive than what your man competitor allows.
Anthony Rudd - we will get this logged for you. Oana Nagy and I will update case once we have a reference
