Studio 2017 System.OutOfMemoryException for PPT file

Question

When I try "save as" I get this message and the target file is not saved. In explorer view when clicking once on the file that I managed to save once (don't know why I can't now) I see a message "cannot preview the file due to an error on microsoft PPT previewer". 
 Is this an issue with Studio or with PowerPoint? How can I solve it?

Nope. I'm not an expert on this and it's actually the first time I am working with PowerPoint in Trados. Before starting I took a lok at any possible problems others had encountered and sure enough I had one of my own when saving target. All I did was change the "Encoding" field in the dialogue box to "Unicode (UTF-7)" instead of the suggested "Unicode (UTF-8)". That did the trick. Any ideas as to why, though? :)

I'd guess you upsaved to PPTX, but I'd be interested to know what you did? I haven't tried to repro yet so wuld also be interested if this happens with any PPT file you load?
