SDL 2017 Professional (Network SN) Activation Problem

Dear SDL team,

I am Xuany from Saltlux.

I have been using SDL 2017 Professional (Network SN) since July.

All is going well until yesterday.

The program asked for activation even there is no one using my account.

I tried to activate it again but it didn’t work.

Could you please kindly help me to check this urgently cause we are proceeding the projects.

In addition, we have three computers more which we want to use this account, is that possible?

If needed, you can access to my computer to take a look via team view.

 

Please kindly help me ASAP.

  • Hi Choi,

    I think the issue here is that you have shut down your computer.

    If you machine has the LSM installed- then this needs to be switched on at all times (just close Studio to return the license)

    When configuring the LSM- you need to know the (to connect) PC's name /address or its IP and add these.

    Important:

    The licensing computer must be turned on when users request network license seats.

    After closing the SDL product, the license seat is returned to the license server so other users can use it.
