The latest version of Studio is .1693, so you should have notifications to update (in the notifications' pane).

If you are not seeing the Search and Replace...(I couldn't see this to start of with, as it was opening on another screen)

Please try Reset Windows layout

The screen is actually there, but it is Blank and can not be focused.

Maybe by updating it gets fixed.

In fact, my issue was a weird tech coincidence.

I was using an external monitor. Then, I simply disconnected it to move the laptop to another room. The computer decided that the window was still in the external monitor, so it showed a Blank window instead. I finally reconnected the external monitor and dragged the window to my main laptop monitor. End of story.

Of course, it took some time to figure it out and I was stunned.

I am using Studio 2019 and I am having a similar problem to Alonso, which started after I had installed the most recent update.

I was using a second monitor with my laptop screen and had disconnected the external monitor at one point. Now, when I try to use Find and Replace, no window actually pops up; it is shown as a blank window in the taskbar, and when I hover the mouse over the blank window, it just brings up the desktop (images below). 

I have tried:

* Disconnecting and reconnecting the external display: the F&R window doesn't appear on the external display either, so I can't drag it across as Alonso was able to do.

* Uninstalling and reinstalling Studio: I had installed update 15.2.5.2145 on the day that this problem started. Today I tried repairing Studio via the Control Panel, and I have also tried reinstalling it and the latest update. No change.

Any suggestions?

In your sreenshot above we can see the F&R pane so it is there and must surely be hidden behinda window or on another screen.  I now you tried all this already but perhapstry closing your computer and then restart with the external monitor connected.  Start Studio and nothing else, activate the F&R.  Can you see where it is now?

Solved. I had forgotten that I had switched the displays in the display settings so dragged them back to their original positions and it's working now. I think I misunderstood Alonso's solution "dragged the window to my main laptop monitor".
