Urgent: how to export a file after finalization?

Please ... Batch option is no more availabe ...

Trados Studio screenshot showing the batch activities menu with a red cross icon and text 'Remove from list' indicating no available batch activities.

How can I export my FINAL .docs now ???

Trados Studio interface with project files displayed, including a file named 'DS_WorkingCopy_RUS.docx.sdlxliff' with 100% progress and marked as translatable.

Or here:

Dropdown menu in Trados Studio with 'Batch activities' selected, showing no available activities and options to create project or return package.

Please ... I need to export my last changes from Trados ...
Thank You

Pietro

  • Using the one of the TARGET language now I do have the option to RE-EXPORT the file

It's still an incorrect and overcomplicated process, because now you are working on a copy of the file from your original project.

You should NOT mess around witht he files on the filesystem, unless you understand what you are doing.

You should have simply opened - i.e. doubleclicked on it in Studio in the projects list - your original project (which is in Finalized status)...

Screenshot of Trados Studio project list highlighting a finalized file named INTEGRATORI ALIMENTARI with a red arrow pointing to it.

...then highlighted the finalized file (noticing that the file name is "blabla.docx" instead of "blabla.dicx.sdlxliff", because you have finalized it) and then clicked the "Revert to SDLXLIFF" button on the ribbon; or simply doubleclicked the file and Studio would ask you if you want to revert... just as Paul has already instructed you.
