It would be helpful if you posted the full error stack- exact error message

and told us which version of Studio you are actually using.

This way we can track if this is a known issue with newer versions and/or if there is a solution.

Data validation lists in Excel can be in a range of cells or, as in your case, outside any range of cells.

In the first case, Studio would extract the strings to be translated, but not in the second case.

If I were you, I would:

- grab the strings, translate them apart, and then insert them back in Excel (please keep the same list separator, yours can be different than mine).

- post a request in https://community.sdl.com/ideas/translation-productivity-ideas/i/trados-studio-ideas

It's not an error, but a bug which is missing importing content from the Excel drop-down list.

My version is Trados Studio 2017 SR1 CU18.

Thanks, copy & paste always work but is depending on the scale of issues, what about tens of cells containing different data list.

Moreover, any tentative filter available like the SDL article referred to?
