ERROR > An item with the same key has already been added

IMAGINE srl

Hi,

I'm using SDL Trados 2019.

I get this error message very often in the last 2 weeks.

Sometimes, trying to process excel files, but also .idml files.

I also created a new file (excel or .idml) copying and pasting the content from the source file in a new file with no positive results.

The TM was updated.

Here below the error message.

Any idea?

    Hi Steven,

    this is the whole error message, I clicked on the button you mentioned and saved the file.

    I made some more tests and realised that the Pre-translate task is OK, no error. The file has been pretranslated correctly at 22%.

    I can open the file without problem and I can see the pretranslated segments. I can see also fuzzy matches.

    I ran Translation WordCount withouit error.

    The only task with error is the Analyse one. This is a problem because I see the total word count but not all other informations.

    I think this is not a matter of corrupted files, this happended 4 times, for 4 different files, 4 different TMs.

    Hi ,

    I did a second test using the previous version of Trados 2019 (that is 15.2.7.28.49) and everything went well. No error.
     This means the files are not corrupted but there is something wrong with the last version of Trados, correct?

    What do you think? Do you still need the file do to some tests?
