It is essential that you are running both Studio and MultiTerm are both on the latest version ie Studio 2021 and MultiTerm 2021 with the latest updates installed.

Please install MultiTerm 2021 and then ensure the updates are applied.

I tried it for the 2017 version (Used the 2017 versions of Trados and MultiTerm) as well. The problem remains.

I'm not sure I understand what the problem is. This is the usual procedure for adding new terms to the termbase, with the two options you have described: first you select the source and target terms, then add them to the termbase with one of those two options. Were you expecting something else? Are you perhaps thinking of adding the translation to your translation memory instead? If so, the shortcut for that is Ctrl+Enter.

Is it possible to send a video cut?

I don’t have any version of MultiTerm at all and it works fine.

It works this way by design. And it has nothing to do with MultiTerm. You don’t need MultiTerm installed to keep the termbase-related features of Studio functional. A term in the source language must always have an equivalent in the target language. You just can’t add a term without translation. A term is always a pair.***

Probably you want to add an already translated content into your TM? If so, just run a batch task called Update Main Translation Memories. All segments with green check mark will be added to TMs that have the ‘Update’ box checked.

***UPDATE: I have just checked my Studio 2017 version and it works even with only one term selected. So, my assumption that it must always be a pair of terms was wrong. Maybe Studio 2021 behaves differently, but I can't check it at the moment. However, what is definitely true is that I don't have MultiTerm on my both computers with Studio 2017 and with Studio 2021.
