No valid files for retrofit, translation memory not found, dependency file not found

Hi,

Studio makes me so sad/mad today, tons of error messages (not just today) that make life hard.

Error message in Trados Studio stating 'No Valid Files for Retrofit. The file contains track changes, TQAs and comments and the Retrofit task cannot be applied until these issues are solved or removed.'

I´ve reviewed and accepted all changes so not sure where to go from here.

I also constantly get the error message (in every file these days) that my TM apparently can´t be found, even though it´s in the same place as it always was, hasn´t moved an inch since added as TM.

And then last but not least annoying, the old "dependency file not found" message. What is happening?
Thanks for your input, much appreciated!

  • Thanks again Steven, the file explorer thing has worked.

The repair/change ("Ändern") option is not active in my Apps and Features, all I can do is reinstall, but I doubt that this will solve the problem as I´ve reinstalled it recently and nothing has changed.

Screenshot of the Apps and Features window showing Trados Studio 2021 SR1 installed on 05.08.2021 with version number 16.1.4.4094. The 'Change' button is labeled 'Andem' and is greyed out, indicating it is not active.

With regards to the dependency file issue, I usually don´t work with packages but simple word or pdf files that aren´t all that large. The path that it shows in the error message does lead to some temp folder, which should be solved by the antivirus exceptions I hope. If it´s not, can I simply click on browse for the dependency file and then go to the word or pdf file (which is not in a temp folder, so a different path than suggested)?

    Thanks heaps teach pixie :-)
