Ups, Memsource allows that and Smartcat also, is very easy to do, you just do one click on the pencil icon in the segment, you mark it in red and that is all, that segment will not propagate.

If I turn on "always to ask me", for a document of +8000 segments with +5000 repetitions I would have to press Ctrl + Enter so much that I will burn the keyboard...

Very easy, I have a segment (segment number 2974) and it says "Regulatory". I have the same word in many other segments, before and after the segment number 2974.

What I want exactly is to mark the segment number 2974 to avoid the propagation of this segment in the next segments.

Right click it and change status to translated. This will NOT trigger the AP.

You can also lock the segment by clicking into it and using Ctrl+L to prevent it being autopropagated by the client if you are returning an sdlxliff file to them

Yes, exactly. Changing the status to translated by right clicking or using the Segment status button in the ribbon (not the confirmation button) does NOT trigger AP.

I'd rather prefer not to block the segment, I'm aware already of Ctrl + L, I would prefer the client be able to edit it if he/she want, I would just like not to propagate it.

Just want to make sure you realise that changing the status will not enter the translation into your TM.  So once you complete your work you need to update your TM using one of the batch tasks.

But also note this means that you won't benefit from your TM as you translate either, at least you won't get matches from anything new that you translate in the current document.
