Filter definition 'Excel 2007 v 2.0.0.0' not found or could not be used to construct a generator

Hey everybody,

i need help with this Problem. search the Board and all i could find was that the problem fixed itself.

But now the Problem doesnt seem to fix it self with numerous restarts and updates.

Trados Studio error message window showing 'An error has occurred in the script on this page.' with options to continue running scripts or not.

Tried varios workarounds and Troubleshootings.

- reset view settings

- repair install for SDL Trados Studio 2019

- repair install Office

- renamed Appdata versionnumber folder and restart.

- changed order of types in options

and almost everytime i restartet the computer and createt a whole new projekt but nothing seems to work here.

still getting the error. 

the sdlxliff is also createt by the user itself with sdl 2019

are there any other ways i can try to fix this error?

    The current version of 2019 will create an sdlxliff from Excel using "SpreadsheetML v.1" if it's an XLSX or "XLS v 3.0.0.0" if it's an XLS.  It will not create the sdlxliff using "Excel 2007 v 2.0.0.0".  You have not shared what version of 2019 you have, the current being:

    Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - 15.2.8.3007
    MultiTerm 2019 - 15.0.6.56482

    So I suggest you first of all make sure you have got the latest version of 2019 installed.  Then, recreate your project and pre-translate from your TM.  If you already have this version installed, or if you upgrade and the problem continues when you recreate the sdlxliff (don't just open up the one you created before), then close Studio, and delete this file:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Studio 2019\Project Templates\Default.sdltpl

    Then restart Studio and recreate your project using the default project template and see if this helps.

    Hey Paul,

    i tried the suggested things but it endet up with the same error.

    as mentioned the Version is SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - 15.2.8.3007.

    we also tried new projects with completely other files all ending in the same error.
