The file cannot be opened as it contains languages that are not configured for this installation

Suddenly I can't use the trados.
I get the following message
The file cannot be opened as it contains languages that are not configured for this installation
I have checked and set the languages I work with and have worked with so far.
I deactivated Trados and installed it again.
The Same error.
I checked, I have my 2 languages set. When reinstalling it did not ask me again to add the 5 standard languages.

I tried all the solutions found on the internet, without success

What can I do to function normally, as before?

Thanks in advance!

  • For PDF or Word Studio will certainly show a language dialog, as the automatic language pair recognition is not possible there. For me it looks like would you either be opening a sdlxliff file (or a xlf file) or just going to the Files view in Studio and opening a file from there.

You can set up Studio to suggest you a most used language pair. To do so, go to File -> Options -> Editor -> Languages and chose the language pair you use the most.

And again, please give me the exact file name extension of the file you are opening and not seeing the languages dialog.
