Studio 2021 won't start. UNEXPECTED EXCEPTION WHEN GETTING VIEW PART INSTANCE OF VIEW PART SUBTITLING PREVIEW.

Studio 2021 now won't open at all after installing the subtitling plug in. I'm in the middle of an urgent project. Please can you assist?

    Hi Alison, today I faced the same thing, but Studio opens, but the subitle plugin does not work at all, and I can not access its settings for add a video path. I even installed the latest SR2, thinking that this might fix the problem, but I got another issue and SDL Studio MTCould files caused a problem that crashed Studio, so I had to remove them manually, and only then Studio opened, but the Subtitling plugin does not work still! Very frustrating experiences to say the least, and happening in the Middle of ongoing projects.

    Please can you do what we already suggested and remove the plugin completely then reinstall via the appstore.  The subtitling plugin has had several releases in recent months as a result of changes due to various Studio releases that forced us to maintain multiple versions.  The changelog is here and is always worth checking:
