Cannot login, cannot access the Appstore

Trados Plugin Installer window showing installed Trados Studio versions with Trados Studio 2021 selected and Trados Studio 2022 grayed out, indicating incompatibility.

From Studio 2021 and now Studio 2022, I cannot login.

A message says I have no internet access ("Cannot connect to the cloud"). NB Here I am not trying to use the Cloud-based translation service proper.

Deactivating the antivirus has no effect.

One of the effects is: I cannot access the AppStore to get the Deepl plugin (listing says empty).

Clicking on Go to the Appstore fails.

A suggestion in the Community site recommends to erase a .bin file after making sure hidden files are listed. I have no such file
(in C:\Users\jfd\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17).

If I go separately to the appstore  via a browser, and download the plugin in its compatible version (6.0.1.0), the installer sees my Studio 2021 but not my Studio 2022.

A message says I have no internet access ("Cannot connect to the cloud").

This has nothing to do with the appstore.

One of the effects is: I cannot access the AppStore to get the Deepl plugin (listing says empty).

    This...

Screenshot showing Trados Studio versions, with Trados Studio 2021 - 16.2.9.9198 highlighted.

... only shows you don't have a version of the app you are attempting to manually install that is supported on the version of Studio you have.  You seem to have 2021 - 16.2.9.9198.  The latest 2021 is Studio 2021 - 16.2.12.9338.  Perhaps you can tell us which app you are attempting to install and where you downloaded it from?  I downloaded the 2021 version for DeepL and it should install in your version of Studio, so maybe you downloaded a different one altogether?

A suggestion in the Community site recommends to erase a .bin file after making sure hidden files are listed. I have no such file
    (in C:\Users\jfd\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17).

If you don't have this then it would match what you show in that screenshot.  You do not seem to have 2022 installed at all.  For example, if I double click the 2021 installer for DeepL I see this:

Trados Plugin Installer window displaying a list of installed Trados Studio versions with checkboxes, Trados Studio 2021 - 16.2.9.9338 checked.

Are you sure you have actually installed 2022?

Maybe also check you have unhidden your hidden files/folders:

    www.howtogeek.com/.../

Then see if you can see that folder?

If I go separately to the appstore  via a browser, and download the plugin in its compatible version (6.0.1.0), the installer sees my Studio 2021 but not my Studio 2022.

    Same as above.
