thank you for your answer. I was referring to the  Bilingual Excel file type. 

Everything seems to be clicked in the same way as in your screenshot.  I just tried again, same result. 

(I am not managing to attach a screenshot, otherwise I would have)

To insert a screen-shot on your post, use the Insert menu > Image/Video/File to upload the file, or even easier, just paste it with the usual shortcut CTL+V if the screen-shot is already in your Clipboard.

Sorry, I can’t see much on your picture.

You can create screen-shots in Windows by pressing ALT+PRNT SCREEN keys. Then you can edit the image in Paint for example to remove unneeded parts. This is what I do.

Anyway, I would need the same 2 screen-shots I posted above (with your project settings and legible ).

ok, I know what’s going on: The Bilingual Excel file type has to be above the other Excel file types, like this:

The reason is that the first file type matching the file extension (xlsx in this case) of the list will be used. As you have it now, Trados Studio is using the default Excel type, not the Bilingual Excel one.

You can do that in 2 ways in your Project Settings:

• Select the Bilingual Excel file type and then click con the Move Up button as many times as needed to be above the other Excel filetypes.
• Untick the Microsoft Excel 2007-2019 filetype.

Now preview it. If the columns are well defined in the Bilingual Excel filetype (I can’t see it from your screen-shot), then everything will be fine.

nothing. I've moved the  Bilingual Excel file type up as you said, also Unticked the Microsoft Excel 2007-2019 filetype. Closed and reopened Trados. Tried again, same result.
