Out of the box Trados Studio does not currently support this feature directly. However, you can achieve this by exporting the analysis results and then manipulating the data in a spreadsheet program like Excel.

You can do this like this:

1: Run your analysis in Trados Studio as you normally would.

 2: Once the analysis is complete, right-click on the analysis result and select "Export".

3: Save the exported file in a location of your choice.

 : Open the exported file in Excel.

5: In Excel, you can then manually combine the 50-74% match and No match columns. You can do this by creating a new column and using a formula to add the values of the 50-74% match and No match columns.

6: Save your changes in Excel.

Please note that this is a workaround and not a direct feature of Trados Studio. If you believe this would be a useful feature to have in Trados Studio, I encourage you to suggest it in the Ideas forum as you mentioned. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve our products.

Why wouldn't you just change the analysis bands in Studio so that you don't use that band at all and then they would appear in the no match column automatically?  The settings you are using are the defaults... you can do whatever you like.

So instead of this:

It's better than nothing. Difficult to do for every project, but maybe for larger ones.

By the way, Paul, I did not have time to test it at this point, but that feature is available for all language pairs, but not for specific language pairs.
I assume that my choice for all pairs will propagate to any specific language pair.

Unfortunately, although the 50-74% Fuzzy band did not show any longer in the New project wizard after I removed it in the Options, it is still there in the analysis results...

ok… let’s rule out the obvious first.

1. Is this a new project and a new analysis?

2. Did you definitely make the changes in the project template you subsequently created the project from

3. did you run a new analysis with these settings?

You're right.

I changed the Fuzzy bands in the File>Options window (not from the Project settings) when I was in my previous project.

I thought that with that change done from the Options, the change would be general, like for other settings, not only for the ongoing project.
I just checked, and the 50-74% band I had removed reappeared in the Options (at least when I was in the newly created project).

So, I eliminated the project, went back in the Options to remove the 50-74% band, then recreated a new project.
And the band still appeared in the Wizard:

I understand that the Fuzzy bands were set in the template for that client. So I had to remove that fuzzy band from the Wizard, then update the template at the end of the process. And it worked:

So, it should also work in the future, without having to change it again.

It means that the change in the Options does not propagate to existing Project templates (which is logical, after all) and I will have to update all my templates next time I will use them.
However, I assume any new template will now be created according to the changed Options (without than Fuzzy band).
