Change the default project template folder

Question

As far as I can see, the default project template folder is C:\User\web\OneDrive\Documents\Studio 2021\Project Templates\Default.sdltpl. 
 I've been trying to change it (also because I would like to get rid of OneDrive at all. I tried some time ago and obviously it wasn't possible because Studio keeps recreating it), but the only possibility is to write a custom path in the respective field of the window for the project template setup. Nevertheless after closing the window, the saving location in the previous window stays the same. Is there a way to change this somehow?

 If what you are trying to do is change the location of the folder where projects are created when you use the Default project template, you can just go to File-Setup-Project templates, click on the Default template and then Edit. In the window that opens, on the right side, you will see the option Project location that is empty. You can Browse and select the folder where you want your Studio projects to be saved and then click OK. When you use the Default project template after that, the new location for your project folders will already be selected.

 In addition to the reply from Beatriz de Vega , you can always set the Studio folder to always be available offline. I finally purchased a windows laptop for my own use (had an old Linux box before that) and went through the exact same problem. I could not find a way to exclude a folder from OneDrive altogether that is installed in a OneDrive location (like Studio... and I think we should change this), at least I could not with Windows Home Edition... I think with the Pro edition you can probably do this through the config.ini for OneDrive. 
 But at least if the location is always available offline then you should not have any problems.

 I can't get you the link because Microsoft use URL's that have a code at the end that resembles a licence key, so the community forum strips it out! But essentially it's this: 
 Your files will have these statuses in File Explorer:

A blue cloud icon next to a OneDrive file or folder indicates that the file is only available online. Online-only files don&rsquo;t take up space on your computer. You see a cloud icon for each online-only file in File Explorer, but the file doesn&rsquo;t download to your device until you open it. You can&rsquo;t open online-only files when your device isn&rsquo;t connected to the Internet.

When you open an online-only file, it downloads to your device and becomes a locally available file . You can open a locally available file anytime, even without Internet access. If you need more space, you can change the file back to online only. Just right-click the file and select &ldquo;Free up space.&rdquo; 
 With Storage Sense turned on , these files will become online-only files after the time period you've selected.

Only files that you mark as "Always keep on this device" have the green circle with the white check mark. These always available files download to your device and take up space, but they&rsquo;re always there for you even when you&rsquo;re offline.

So you want the last one... "always keep on this device"
