We installed recently new version of SDL Trados Studio 2022 SR2 - 17.2.10.19084, when we try to set the active spell checker of MS Word we get this information :
and the spell checker does not work, have you seen this before?

These steps might not resolve the issue because it's not related to macros in the default Word document template (there is no macros) have you other suggestions?

AFAIK the MS Word spell checker is such a bear that it's either deprecated or at least not supported any more. The recommended spelling and grammar checker is LanguageTool. There is a plugin for Trados 2022 for LanguageTool, plus it's totally free and GDPR/NDA-conform if you run it off your machine or on one of your servers. Does that work for your language pairs?
For EN-FR/FR-EN there is Antidote, which reportedly is very good, but I have no experience of my own.
