My first project is ready. However, the progress bar shows 0%, but, recently there was 100%!!! And, when opening the project there are the following details: STATUS: TRANSLATION APPROVED. In mY SECOND TASK, the progress bar shows 67,41% and the details are: STATUS: TRANSLATED. What shall I do? Thank you!
How do I prepare my projects and open these for edition after having closed and restarted Studio? I browse the document for translation, select translate a single document, select my language pair, source-target, then click used and select file based translation memory (when it is about a related content, the same field... and then I click open.
Perfect, so it is a single file approach. This is how do you start for the first time. But what happens, if you have to close Trados Studio, for example to take some rest. How do you open your project again?

Well, when I want to take a break, and the project is not ready yet, I simply click on save. When the project is finished I clisk on Save traget file/ Save target as/ Rename / Save.
How do I open my project again? Well. not too sure here. I had to open projects , then files, then click on the file I want to continue with.
Paul Filkin has already explained how to reopen a single-file project for new translation. What he says was also where I wanted to go, as it seems you start a new project each time you have closed Studio instead of continuing working where you stopped before. Follow his advice, as you do not need to start a new project every time.
The way to continue ist to start Trados Studio, go to the Projects view, select the desired project, then go to Files view and start translating from there. Double clicking on a sdlxliff file in Explorer or opening the source file for translation again are not the way we should work with Trados Studio.
