I translated this english source to arabic using trados 2019, but the target file format isn't accurate. how can i fix this format?
Did you check that all the formatting tags have been transferred from source to target segment? Run a verification (F8) and correct flagged errors. You may also check the formatting of your target in the Editor using the Preview function.
I did all this but nothing changed in the target file, what's the problem in your opinion?, knowing that I translated this file using another cat tool and encountered the same problem
No sure what you mean by "format", but if you mean the layout, that is something you have to do in the target application, Word in this case. If bold text is not bold in the target, then it might be that the target font does not support bold type? As for Studio, you can turn off checking and displaying formatting tags. Make sure you have those settings on.

I'll explain what i mean, the left half of the target "arabic" file should be at the right side in the same file , and the right half should be at the left side which results in a mirror image of the source file. Arabic is written from right to left that what i mean, i think it's a trick but i can't catch it up till now.
Thanks for explaining! Unfortunately I don't speak any right-to-left language! Do you know how the formatting in the Word file is achieved? It could be done with columns, and it could be done with a table. Trados is the industry standard and I can't imagine you to be the first ever to encounter this. Plus you said that you had the same issue with another CAT tool – makes me think maybe the source file layout is achieved in an unusual way. Text boxes are also possible, but I would not start out suspecting the worst…
