Korean to Japanese translation does not work as it is expected

I am on Trados Studio 2024 and was using Korean to Japanese translation, but it did not work as expected, showing Japanese and Korean as I expected.

It did not work as the space between Korean words (or between the Japanese word) as it should work normal as in the screenshot attached.

That means that when I used Korean words and then used Japanese word, the space between words do not be changed as it is expected to be.

This does not get fixed after I changed the character set in Windows setup.

Please let me know the reason and solution to this error.

Kind regards,

I'm trying to understand what you mean as I don't think your image represents the problem (which might have been more helpful).  I think what you're saying is that you are working with a segment containing both Japanese and Korean text that must go into the target segment, and you expect the software to automatically adjust the character widths and spacing according to each language's specific typographical conventions.  So for Japanese maybe a mix of full-width and half-width characters without spaces between words, and characters spaced uniformly; and Korean with proportional spacing and clear spaces between words, similar to Western languages.

If this is the case I would be surprised if this was supported, but I think having a sample text from you in an sdlxliff that represents the issue would be helpful.
