Crashes, crashes and, again, crashes

Question

Trados crashes lots of times without reason,while I'm simply using it with the usual normal functions, simply when I put the cursor in the next segment space, and there is no way to restart it. 
 Ctrl+Alt+Canc does not work, the program cannot be closed. I am obliged to force my computer's shut down using the power button. No other way. 
 This may happen several times during a work session. It is VERY annoying. Why is this happening? Could someone fix this?

 More details would help, as we don't know what is happening on your computer or what you are working on. Also, in case of errors, screenshots of the errors help a lot. And like G&eacute;rard LAMBERT mentioned, force closing a computer may do more damage than help to both the computer and the software. So please use CTRL+ALT+DELETE , select "Task Manager" in the list, open it, look for Trados in the processes, right-click on it and choose "End of Task". 
 Now back to your issue, does Trados freeze when you work on a particular project or package? If yes, this means that inside that project or package there may be a corrupted file which can cause Trados to freeze. Also, it matters if it's a local project/package or a server-based one. And are you saving files locally or on OneDrive or some similar shared space? Because saving on OneDrive may cause issues with Trados. 
 Moreover, and for future reference as well, in case one experiences issues with Trados like freezing, not starting, etc - first thing advised is to do a Repair of Trados and next a Reset of Trados to default settings, both processes explained in the article below and with what steps to take so please try this instead of force closing the computer:

 Various errors or unusual behaviour may actually occur when resources in use in Trados Studio are synchronized with OneDrive, as detailed in our KB article : In the article it is also advised that, if possible, synchronization should be paused while Trados Studio is in use, or all Studio-related information should be saved in a location not synchronized with OneDrive. 
 Another option is to disable OneDrive altogether. For further information, please see on Microsoft Help page: Turn off, disable, or uninstall OneDrive. 
 Try pausing the synchronization with OneDrive or use a location which is not synchronized with OneDrive and see if that solves the issue. If the issue persists, you can check what Jerzy indicated and you also have the option for the reset to default for Trados.

I am glad to hear this solved the issue, Valeria Maria . Unfortunately, we cannot influence how Microsoft manages its software, this is a default setting for OneDrive, to synchronize certain folders and files.

 Perhaps it's the project you are working on, the fact that you can open the package does not mean there is no corrupted file in it - there can be one, the package can work until you hit again that corruption in the file and Trados might stop working. You did not say if this happens with all packages or all projects, or just this particular one. 
 Also, you have suggestions from both me and Jerzy on what else to do, you can follow those and see if they help. 
 I would advice opening a different project to see if Trados behaves the same way, and I suggest also checking the files in this package - you can create an individual project with a source file and use pre-translate and see which of the files in the package creates issues.
