Error message in Preview

Get error message when trying to see my translated document in Preview: "Invalid hyperlink format in segment "285" source hyperlink content will be used in translated document". My source document is a Word that I saved as DOCX. Studio shows the Origin as MIcrosoft Word 2007-2013 Filter.  How do I remove this error and view the target document?

  • Hi Talia,

Assuming you have tried to fix the problem in Studio already by correcting any error that might be in the target segment then it sounds as though the Word file might have an invalid hyperlink in it and Studio doesn't like it when validating the file. Perhaps you can correct it in the Word file, or even remove it, then pre-translate the Word file again from your TM and see if it saves this time?

If you are using Studio 2015 then you might even be able to process this if you prepare your project with the new Word filetype instead of the 2007-2013 filetype. So use the one titled 2007-2016 instead?

    Regards
