TMX Export TransitXV language pairs for importing in SDL Studio

Question

Hello, 
 One of our customers wants to switch from Transit XV to SDL Trados Studio. Is there a possibility to create a TMX file out of the Transit language pairs (dating back 3 years)? 
 I know you can only create a TMX file if the original files are available. Unfortunately, we don't have the original files anymore and would like to export the language pairs into TMX. 
 Any suggestions?

I have never seen Transit XV, only Transit NXT, and I think you could achieve this by creating a project and then adding your language files. I'm really no expert, but it looks to me as though this should be possible after playing around a little (I don't find it the easiest product to work with!). 
 
There are a few people using Transit in here for their customers and they may have a better, more finite idea.
