Formatting in the target segment, simple querstion

Question

Dear Colleuges, 
 How can I change in the target segment the formatting fromb bold to normal. 
 In the source segment the word "Operation" is formatted in bold and in ths source segement when typing some characters they are formatted in bold lettere whisch is correct. But if I waht to add now a verb like "press" or any other word, Trados does not allow me to do the formatting in normal letters. The command "delte formatting" does not work for the segement.

Thank you for the hint with ctrl + comma, but it did not work. How can I continue with normal letters after a word formatted bold?

Hi Michael, 
 
The easiest way is to show all the formatting tags (ctrl+shift+h) and then you can just remove them, or place them when needed. These two article might be helpful for you:

That would work... and another way would be to display "All Content" with the display filter and then just remove the tags in target:

 Either way you'll have to deal with tag errors appearing, but as they are formatting they should not cause you problems saving the target file. But well worth checking before you fill your file with these and then find you have to go back and undo it all! Working with the new DOCX filetype might be a good choice as it is a lot more forgiving.
