The language pair of a bilingual file can be reversed?

Hello! I would like to know if there is a way to reverse the language pair of a bilingual file? If not, a translation memory can be exported as bilingual? I consider this latter to be an alternative.

    Thank you for your reply, Paul. And so sorry for the delay, the notification never arrived.
    The aim of this is to use a file that was translated from Portuguese to Spanish, and translate it from Spanish to Portuguese. In other words, a client sent us a sdlxliff with a Portuguese source file in order to translate it to Spanish. This same Spanish file, then, has to be translated to Portuguese (one can say that the same source, but sometimes this is not the case). Thus, instead of exporting the target to Word, and then improt this Word to a new project in Trados in order to have a Spanish source file, we thought that there could be an app that allows to change the source and target directly from the very first file, without having to perform all the beforementioned steps.

    Hi Andrea,

    That's an interesting concept I need to sleep on to understand!! The short answer though is no, you can't reverse the sdlxliff. You would have to open the Spanish target file as a new project. But you could use the same TM as Dariusz mentioned, through AnyTM, to pretranslate and then edit the Portuguese as required.
