In the translation results window Trados Studio 2017 sometimes tells me that it found matches, but it is not showing them. Very arrogant, if you ask me. How can I teach this piece of machinery some decent manners?

Hi Alison HIGH
Unknown said:When I see a big match flagged in the editor but an empty translation results window, I go to project settings/Language pairs/TM and then search for the language pair where my TM are and I wiggle the minimum match value - up one, down one, up and back, I just change it, the amount doesn't really matter. After I click OK I have the match in my back in translation window... odd behaviour indeed. It works for a while and then I have to redo the procedure again.
It sounds as though you need to disable "Lookhead" in File -> Options -> Editor -> Automation

As indicated on a different thread covering this topic, disabling "Lookahead" did not work for me. But fiddling about with the minimum match value and disabling then enabling TMs again did. Looks like a proper little bug(ger) that is still not solved.
Still same problem, Trados 2021.
