Hi there! I must have inadvertantly disabled *something*, and now when I scroll in Studio 2015 my origin and target languages do not scroll together. Terribly inconvenient! Can anyone tell me what box I need to enable/disable to get it back to normal? Thanks a bunch!
With a document open, can you check whether 'Auto-scroll source document' is selected on the View tab of your ribbon:
If it is not, please click it.
If it is, then try resetting the window layout on the User Interface segment of the same tab.

I'm sorry, I didn't see your reply of 4 August, I was ill and then there were so many emails waiting for me I failed to see the one with your post.
If the Actions section of your View tag on the ribbon does not look like this...
...then I suggest a Windows repair of Studio then a reset, as follows:
Windows Repair of SDL Studio...
1. Close all SDL applications.
2. Open the Control Panel:
Windows Vista/7: Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
Windows 8: Right-click on the screen at bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel > Uninstall a Program.
Windows 10: Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features.
3. Click/highlight SDL Trados Studio 2017 and click Repair (either from a right-click dropdown menu or in the top toolbar).
4. Restart Studio and check your window layout.
Reset of SDL Studio...
After you've run the Windows Repair on Studio, navigate here:
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0
Delete the following 3 files in the above folder:
BaseSettings.xml
Plugincache.xml
UserSettings.xml
If you don't have hidden files and folders visible, you'll need to do that first, here in Windows Explorer:
After you delete these files, they will be recreated after you've opened and closed Studio. You will have to go through your File>Options settings (= your profile settings) to adjust any settings you have customised previously. Each time you make a change to your profile settings, they'll be updated to the above xml files on closing Studio.
Some settings need you to click OK to close File>Options for them to 'take'.
Any existing project settings or project templates will not be affected.
NB: Project settings always overrule profile settings.
If the above doesn't do it, there are deeper settings you can reset as follows:
C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Local\SDL - rename the SDL Trados Studio and ProjectApi folders
C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\SDL - rename the SDL Trados Studio and ProjectApi folders
C:\Users\[User_Name]\Documents - rename the Studio 2017 folder (to Studio 2017_Old, for example)
Opening and closing Studio will recreate these folders then you can delete the old renamed ones.
I know it seems a lot but it is worth at least running a Windows Repair periodically, especially after a big update or a Windows update. Same goes for any large, complex software.
