Error when using the Subtitling preview. Box goes black and I receive an error. I'm using Windows 10 and have reset studio. Anyone have a similar thing that they've resolved?

    Hello ,

    How are you accessing Studio? Is this local or remotely?

    Which Studio version are you running?

    Could you post the full error stack please -

    Error dialog box with red cross icon, 'Click here' link highlighted in blue, and 'Advanced Editing Options' in red outline.

    If you save the error to your desktop, you can then add it to this thread.

    Hello ,

    I forgot to ask whether you are a freelancer or working for a company (working on a network) and with admin rights or not.

    When you navigate to the following folder-

    C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Packages are you able to see the plugin(s)- eg

    File Explorer window showing SDL Trados Studio 15 Plugins Packages folder with various plugin files listed by name, date modified, type, and size.

    If not please open the SDL Plugin manager and delete the plugin.

    Update your system (you will need to be logged on as admin)-

    Then reinstall the plugin via the app store

    SDL Plugin Installer window with options to select which Studio versions to install the plugin for, with an arrow pointing to the folder selection.

    And restart Studio.
