Perhaps the best place to start is to reorganise your termbase.

Thanks for your feedback, I followed your instruction and "reorganize" the TB but nothing changed.

Some more info: I have 3 entries with "torretta"

1) "torretta" with the translatin into English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish

2) "torretta di smontaggio" with only German translation

3) "torretta di smontaggio" with only German translation

Then I decided to add other entries it-IT>en-GB, such as:

torretta di montaggio/smontaggio = mounting/demounting tool head

torretta montaggio/smontaggio (without "di" because we found both possibilities in the documents we translated) = mounting/demounting tool head

Now the TB works properly.

Could it be that the entry "torretta di montaggio" together with "torretta" (alone)  and also "montaggio" (alone) generated the error?

Can you provide a small sample termbase that reflects exactly what you have in your larger termbases related to these terms.  Also provide a small sample file to test with and also confirm what QA checks you have enabled and why.

Then I'll happily take a look and see if I can help explain your results.

If you're creating sample files you should be to attach them to your reply.  Just zip them and use the "Insert" menu.

Phew... it's a bit tricky trying to guess what you're doing here.  So let's first of all look at the fact you don't think it picks up all the terms.  This could be because you don't have this option checked:

If I check it then I see these results:

Without it I see these:

The difference is you have terms that include other terms within them.

To validate the QA checks I really need to know what translations you used.  My file doesn't generate any because all the terms in there are also in my termbase.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, indeed the setting you mentioned "Allow overlapping terms" solved the issue.

Now the Term Recognition works fine and I can see the term "torretta".
