I cannot open any file for translation.

Question

I cannot open any file for translation. I follow these steps: I browse to choose a .doc or .docx file in my directory. I then get to choose to open for translation only. The "Translation memory and document parameters" window then opens and the software proceeds to ask me the source and target languages, I choose both and when I click on the "ok" button nothing happens. I cannot get past this step. 
 Can anyone help me?

 I'm not quite sure of the steps you are taking here. 
 Unknown said: If I use the drag & drop menu, I'm still stuck on the "Translation memory and documents parameters" window. 
 Can you maybe send a screen shot (swhale@sdl.com) of this or we can set up a remote Webex so I can understand the issues better. 
 If you have so far only been using the drag and drop option- try using the New Project option and see if you you still have the same issues-
