I have the same problem, some terms are correctly recognized, others aren't, when a term appears 2 times in a same segment, it gives a false positive, and so on. In the large project I'm working on, that erratic behaviour results in over 9000 warnings, most of which are false positives. I'm using Studio 2022. Fiddling around with the settings doesn't give much of a solution. Lowering the term repetition treshold to 2 used to avoid the false positives for double occurences of the same term, but that doesn't work anymore either. Some of my largest customers are using more and more often online cat tools, just because of the recurring problems with terminology using trados. And judging by the answer of Ms. Alison Field, even upgrading to Studio 2024 wouldn't solve much either. So when is this problem going to be solved finally?

This is a known bug from a certain update of Studio 2022 onwards. As far as I know this has been fixed in 2024:

Yes indeed, this problem of false positives being returned when there are duplicate terms in a segment has been fixed in Studio 2024 

Hmm, so I'd better upgrade to 2024 then... I can't help but to feel I'm more or less forced into buying the upgrade. Also, one might wonder why it hasn't been fixed for 2022, if it has been known as a BUG. Aren't bugs meant to be fixed? I would understand that bug fixing would be abandoned at some point for obsolete versions, but were talking about 2022 here... 

Anyway, thanks for your answers, I hope that the 2024 version doesn't throw some other bug that will be fixed somewhere in 2025 with a new (payable) upgrade.

So... I've purchased Studio 2024 and granted, the issue with the double occurences in the same segment seems indeed solved. But other the issue of some terms not being recognized are still happening. So it seems I'll have to live with that until Studio 2025

The software is continuously being improved via Cumulative Updates and Service Releases, so maybe you'll find term recognition improves through those.

In the meantime, have you run a Windows Repair on both Studio and MultiTerm?

Have you tried reorganising the termbase in MultiTerm?
