I have received a Trados packet per email but for some reason, if I click on it, it wouldn't open in Trados.
What do I need to do? Thank you! Susanna

Hi Susanna,
do you mean that you are not able to open the package file clicking on it directly from a Windows folder/path?
This is not completely strange.
The correct way, from my point of view and experience, is launching SDL Studio and then opening the received package file clicking on the "Open Package" icon and selecting the file in the path/folder which contains it (and, in general, this is true not only for SDL Studio):
I know that you can open a file with a registered extension directly from Windows to run the associated application, but this is not always advisable.
I hope this might help.

Hi Susanna,
probably, this is a very stupid question, and forgive me for that!
But you mentioned that you "went back to your E-mail" and that you tried to open the package (directly???) from there... Am I in error?
Did you save the E-mail attchment outside your E-mail client?... I mean in a folder/path in your Windows system.
If you want and if you deem it useful, you may contact me directly here and I will try to see if all is working properly. Obviuously, I assure you and declare all the confidentiality and privacy that our professional ethics dictates. Just tell me which are the source and target languages.
