If you are thinking of buying a new computer it is easy and straightforward to transfer your existing license to the new machine in a few easy 

1) please deactivate the license on the ‘old’ machine by starting Studio ….

2) Once deactivated, please access your SDL Online account- https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/Login.aspx

and click on the DOWNLOADS TAB locate the Studio (and Multiterm) version you wish to install-

Once you have downloaded and installed your software, you will now be able to activate Studio-

PLEASE NOTE:

You must ensure a minimum of 30 minutes have passed between deactivating the software on your ‘old’ machine and activation on your ‘new’ machine.

3) Locate your (previously deactivated licence)

4) Now simply copy and the activation code-

-open Studio and paste the activation code in the box provided.

You can now work on the new machine.
