Is this just because you are not showing the formatting in the editor?  Go to File -> Options -> Editor and look at the options for displaying tags in the editor while working:

Thanks for your answer. Formatting do appears in the editor but appaears in grey. I can see it but not use it.

I am pretty sure they use the 2015 version. But the strange thing is that sometimes I have this problem but not always.

So it depends on the file type used.

I guess the file type your customer uses ist Word 2007 v 2.0.0.0 (you should be able to see this in the file view of your project). I cannot see this file type in Studio 2019 SR2 anymore.

Est-ce que tu veux dire que tu n'arrives pas à sauvegarder le fichier cible (via 'enregistrer la cible sous' ou bien via le menu 'Tâches en mode batch' > 'Exporter les fichiers' où 'Générer les traductions cible' ?

Ou s'agît-il plutôt de ne pas pouvoir exporter jusqu'à Microsoft Word pour relecture bilingue (soit via le ruban Relecture soit via 'Tâches en mode batch') ?

Je présume le premier...

Si cela est le cas, pourrais-tu vérifier l'extension de fichier qui apparaît avant l'extension .sdlxliff là où j'ai mise en valeur ci-dessous...

Sur mon image, tu peux y comprendre que c'est un fichier .sdlxliff de provenance XLSX, soit Microsoft Excel.

Je te pose cette question-là car tu n'y as pas encore répondu en anglais suite à de différentes versions de cette question posées. 

Alors, pourrais-tu me dire quelle est l'extension de fichier qui apparaît là avant .sdlxliff ??

In that case I would expect Gaelle to see the informational message saying that the file type used to create the SDLXLIFF is not present and that therefore certain functionality (such as saving the target, etc.) is not available... and fully understand the implications of that message.

Yes, I would also expect such a message. I have seen such messages in the past.

I think such message appears in the message window. So you will see it, when you look there.

But OTOH I use to translate a lot of customer packages and in case of Word files there were never such problems. So without really having insight in Gaelle's PC we will not find any solution here, I'm afraid.

Merci de ta réponse. J'ai répondu en anglais que l'extension de fichier était docx.

Je reçois des packages tous les jours du même client. La plupart du temps, si je veux regarder le résultat de la traduction en Word (j'aime bien vérifier avec le correcteur de Word), je vais dans : Fichier -> Imprimer et afficher -> Affichage dans -> Aperçu avant impression au format cible.

Mais parfois, quand je reçois certains packages, il m'est impossible d'exporter mon texte en Word. Dans ces cas-là, le formatage dans l'onglet accueil est visible mais impossible de m'en servir. 

Je me doute bien que le "problème" vient du fichier du client mais je me demandais s'il y avait une possibilité de le contourner et de "forcer" Studio a exporter quand même mon texte en WOrd et à afficher quand même le formatage.

Gaelle, I'm sorry I didn't see your answer 'docx' until I'd written and sent my reply. I just wanted to be sure that it really is a Word document that you have there. 

Have you tried 'Fichier > Enregistrer la cible sous' ? This gives you the opportunity to save your Target back to its original format.

I do not understand French, but I suppose "Fichier > Enregistrer la cible sous" means Save target as - which is indeed the best and simplest solution.
