If you are thinking of buying a new computer

it is easy and straightforward to transfer your existing license to the new machine in a few easy steps:

1) First deactivate the license on the ‘old’ machine by starting Studio ….

2) Once deactivated, access your SDL Online account- https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/Login.aspx

and click on the DOWNLOADS TAB, then locate the Studio (and Multiterm) version you wish to install-

 Once you have successfully downloaded and installed the software, you can now activate Studio.

 PLEASE NOTE:

You should ensure a minimum of 20/30 minutes have passed between deactivating the software on your ‘old’ machine and activation on your ‘new’ machine.

3) Locate your (previously deactivated licence)

4) Now simply copy and the activation code-

-open Studio and paste the activation code in the box provided.

You can now work on the new machine.
